Admissions Procedures

We appreciate your expression of interest in Bethany School and we are anxious to help you in determining the appropriate placement for your child. After your initial contact and decision to apply for admission, the process is as follows:

  1. Please return your admission form along with your $50.00 processing fee either by mail or in person to the school office.
  2. Our Admissions Director will then be in contact with you to arrange a convenient time for an interview and a time for the prospective student to be tested. Please bring to the interview all available previous school records.
  3. The Admissions Director will also arrange for the prospective student to spend a full day at Bethany, participating in classes and other activities with the children who would be his or her classmates.
  4. When the above steps are completed, the application and recommendations are submitted to the Admissions committee. That committee determines whether or not we can accept the applicant or if additional information or testing is needed.
  5. You will be notified by the Admissions Director of the Committee's decision. When a place at Bethany School is offered, the parents and the child will receive a letter of Admission.
