Bethany Educators and Parents (BEAP)

BEAP (Bethany Educators and Parents organization), has been an active organization at the school since 1980. It was formed as a partnership of the parents, school administration, and the Sisters of the Transfiguration to provide direct voluntary support of Bethany School; raise funds for both educational and non-educational support of Bethany School; and provide social interaction of parents and educators within the school community.

Over the years, BEAP's efforts have included organizing and supporting the :

New Family Picnic
Magazine Sale
Cookie Dough Sale
Family Math Night, Family Reading Night, and Family Fitness Day
Faculty refreshments for Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent Coffee Hours
Spring Flower Sale
and much, much more!

All of these efforts have contributed toward many enhancements at the school
including :

Activboards for all 1 - 8 grade academic classrooms
New piano for the music program
Author visits through the Library program
New playground equipment
New bleachers and flooring in the gym
New scoreboard in the gym

BEAP is looking forward to a great 2010 - 2011 school year filled with many of
these exciting activities. We have started our planning this summer and look
forward to sharing our ideas and getting your input at our Fall Parent Meeting
which will be held in September.
