Bethany recently held its first quarter Honors Assembly, where students are honored for academic achievement. Seventh and eighth graders designed slides in computer class to illustrate the various honors. This slide was designed to illustrate the Power of the Pen for the school's Power of the Pen team.
Power of the Pen is a unique opportunity for talented Ohio student writers to stretch their skills and creativity outside of the classroom.
A Bethany student gets acquainted with an alpaca during his class trip to Agriculture Day at Symmes Township Park. The trip showed the students many aspect of Ohio farming.
Author Tracie Vaughn Zimmer visited Bethany on October 16. She talked to grades 4-8 about how much she loves reading, poetry, and revising! She loved the Bethany campus and our students’ excellent questions. She will be returning to Bethany soon to work with the Power of the Pen team. The students and the teachers greatly enjoyed her presentation.
Bethany has started the school year very safely. A student demonstrates his technique, and a really cool stop sign, for keeping students safe on the way to buses and cars.
Seventh and eighth graders are expanding their horizons with Quest Classes. They can choose from art, music, social studies, language arts, and physical education options for these classes.
